Shannon Wolz
Even as a child in a small town in Wyoming, Shannon showed
an obsession for creating. She spent many intimate hours with her crayons,
memorizing and organizing all 104 colors. Throughout grade school and junior high,
she showed her natural talent by winning awards and recognition for her art work. In
high school and college, she put art on the back burner to pursue other interests.
In her last semester of college, needing to fill extra credit hours, she
enrolled in several art classes. She fell back in love with creating.
Shannon was introduced to scrapbooking twice, before she took the "plunge".
She has been obsessed ever since and spreads her passion to all she
touches. Her friends consider her the "Scrapbook Queen" and consult
her continually. Shannon's husband would call her room cluttered, but there is a
method to her mess! If one sheet of paper, or one die cut was out of place, she
would know! Next to her beautiful (well photographed) 2 and a half year old
son, high school sweetheart husband, and her love of God, her photos and supplies are her
most treasured possessions. She spends hours and hours on each beloved page.
Shannon loves scrapbooking because it gives her a creative outlet, plus preserves the
memories of those she loves most. She now lives amongst the Rocky Mountains, in Salt
Lake City, Utah, minutes away from her favorite scrapbook stores.
Tip: Don't be afraid to use something
unexpectedly. Provo Craft paper and templates have so many unexpected uses!
